Gifted and Talented Teacher
I graduated from Green Forest High School in 2008 and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. I graduated from my undergraduate program in 2012 and my Master’s program in 2013.
I earned a B.S.E. in Childhood Education in 2012 and went on to get my Master of Arts in Teaching degree. I later earned my certification to teach Gifted and Talented through Arkansas State University. I am certified to teach Pre-Kindergarten – 4th grade, English as a Second Language (K-12), and Gifted and Talented (K-12).

I started teaching in Green Forest in 2017. I teach Gifted and Talented for Kindergarten – 6th grade.
I began my teaching career as an intern at T.G. Smith Elementary in Springdale, AR in 2012. I was hired as a 2nd grade teacher the following year. In 2016, I was able to loop with my 2nd grade class to 3rd grade.
I married my husband, Cody Sanders, in October of 2014. We have two dachshund puppies named Binx and Bexley.
When I am not teaching, I like to watch sporting events, read, exercise, shop, and kayak.
