I have been an educator for 11 years. The first three years of my teaching career was in 1st grade. I then took over the Media Center in for grades 4-7 in the Intermediate School. When our new building was built, I took on the second library. I enjoy working with all students choosing the right book for them and doing research.

I am married to James Brown. We have been married for 22 years. We have one daughter, Lauren Ashley. Our lives center around her and her activities. One of those activities is cheer. I became the SR/JR cheer coach 3 years ago. I enjoy working with all the girls. They keep me young, laughing, and very tired.
